"Chesepian Shucker" Oyster Knife with full tang Damascus Steel blade, Black C-Tek Handle, Richlite Bolster, G10 Liners, and Stainless Steel Rivets.
Designed in conjunction with Chris Ludford of Pleasure House Oysters who helped us to come up with a blade and handle design that would best suit Virginia Oysters.
The knife is named after the Native American Tribe who were the original inhabitants of South Hampton Roads. The Chesepian had several villages including Chesepioc which was located near Great Neck Point in Virginia Beach. Prior to the English arriving to Virginia in 1607 the Chesepian were wiped out by the Powhatan.
Care: Hand wash only! Do not put in the dishwasher or soak in water. After use hand wash with water and mild detergent then dry thoroughly.
